Production Support Specialist needed!

 

Production Support Specialist:

This is a contract-based role supporting the creative and operational work of Tom Rouse and Tomlynn Media.

Contractual, Flexible Hours, South AL (remote work would be considered for ideal applicant), Commission-based (see below)

 

Role Summary:

Seeking a reliable assistant to help support a large catalog of original music and related creative projects. This includes organizational support, licensing prep, and basic technical assistance. Great for someone who enjoys gig work, behind-the-scenes production, creative strategy, and helping good ideas come to life.

 

Key Tasks:

Update catalog spreadsheet (genre tags, co-writers, rights status)

Prep materials for demo submissions and sync/licensing outreach

Coordinate with record labels, artists, production companies, etc. representing Tom Rouse and Tomlynn Media

Assist in day-to-day (no set hours) operations of Tomlynn Media as Tom's personal assistant

Be available for creative input and idea sharing

(and possibly more, depending on future needs)

 

Qualifications:

(formal credentials aren't required)

Have experience with (or ability to research) music business essentials: music catalogs, copyright, licensing, metadata tagging/attachments, etc.

Be detail-oriented and comfortable with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel)

Be tech-savvy and comfortable with AI tools, cloud folders, or other software as needed

Bonus: curious about music production, genre blending, or quirky original tunes

 

Pay Structure:

20% of net income from major licensing or publishing deals initiated or supported by Assistant

15% of net income from other qualifying monetization efforts

No hourly or salary payments; commissions paid as funds are received (basically, you get paid when I get paid. We'll be in this together!)
